Project: Acergy Global Positioning Map

About

Acergy are a global engineering and construction contractor for the offshore oil and gas industry.

Brief

To build a zooming interactive world map that would show the up-to-date global position of Acergy's oil tankers, projects and installations around the world.

Solution

The map was built in Flash and used the Mercator projection algorithm to plot positions that were loaded in as XML data each time the map was launched.
